Residential Inspections

Real Estate Inspection

Home Buyer Inspections

Buyers will usually do their first inspection of a home looking at photos on a website provided by a Realtor or from another online service. The online photos and briefly listed information provide a feeling that this maybe the type of home they are searching for. The location maybe perfect, the layout is nice, the home seems to fit the bill. Yet, are there unknown or hidden defects that are potentially harmful or costly? No house is perfect. A Next Level Home Inspection will provide essential information regarding the actual condition of the home. Inspections usually take 3 to 4 hours to complete, depending on the size of the home and grounds. Buyers are strongly encouraged to be present during the inspection. Our Professional Electronic Report including photos will be distributed within 24 hours.

Post Sale Inspection

Seller / Maintenance Inspections

Unlike a Buyer Inspection a Seller/ Maintenance Inspection is more of a discovery process. The procedure is the same but the reasons for the inspection are different. You may want the peace of mind knowing that your home is in the best condition possible or what maintenance item may be coming due. Or you may have a home that is unoccupied for part of the year. The home may be part of an estate that the parties involved have not lived in. Whatever the reason, it is your opportunity to partner with Next Level and take the time to do a complete visual inspection of the house and grounds. This will inform you of the current condition of the home.

Radon Test

Radon Testing

Radon is a naturally formed odorless, tasteless, invisible gas. Radon forms when uranium, thorium, radium or other radioactive metals break down in rocks, soil and groundwater. People are exposed to Radon gas primarily from breathing in the air that seeps through cracks and gaps found in basements and on grade floors. Having your home tested is the only effective way to determine whether you or your family is at risk of high Radon level exposure. . The testing procedure takes 48 hours and you will receive a written report with the findings.
